Jackie Moylan
I think I was born with art in my blood. My maternal grandfather was a ceramic artist and Grandma did lovely embroidery. I was often compared to my paternal grandmother whom I only met twice. She sewed, crocheted, made dolls. Her daughter, my Aunt Mary Elsie, was a locally known sculptor in Western New York. I majored in art in high school and took art history in college. I’ve always been a crafter, but now I’m trying to fine-tune my watercolor painting. I like painting portraits, but my landscapes look like vegetable soup!
